Donovan Murphy did not want to have his dead relatives customized. He only wanted two things in life: to die quickly and to give his family financial independence. He got what he wanted, but... Wait a minute. I need to tell you something else first or you will not understand what I am talking about.
Throughout history, as a species, we have had to face many adversities
and... You know what, I'll get right to the point. The zombie apocalypse finally happened, but it didn't cause as many problems as we imagined it would. To be quite honest, it brought more good than bad things to mankind, in a way. This happened for one reason: implantable brain
machine interfaces manufactured and sold by multinationals with enough fuck-you money to sell anything at rock-bottom prices. Obviously, such companies made a point of saying that they only
intended to manufacture those devices to treat serious brain diseases in order to improve human life.
As we usually do, we kind of pretended to believe that those microchips were truly harmless and just started digging holes in our skulls to install these things in our brains...

Thiago Desant also dropped an album called Vermillion Dandelion. A project in process for a while now, Desant decided to self release as opposed to looking for distribution. While I would have loved to have heard this in some kind of physical media form, self-releasing means we get to hear it now. That is a very good thing.
Desant dips his toes into all kind of waters; synth pop, ambient, cinematic, and even dark wave/industrial. Vermillion Dandelion lingers heavy in the darkness, giving us touches of Reznor/Ross scores, Johann Johannsson, and the Haxan Cloak, while still giving the whole proceedings a melancholy lean with Philip Glass-like strings.
There’s a sense of urgency throughout the album, holding the listener at bay with tension-filled strings, tribal rhythms, and buzzing electronics that carries throughout the album’s run time.
